Your privacy is fundamental to Paidr. This policy explains how we handle your data.

1. Local-First Privacy

Paidr is built on a local-first architecture. By default, all your invoice data, client information, and financial records are stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly enable cloud sync.

2. Data Collection

We collect minimal data necessary to provide our services:

  • Account data: Email address and basic profile info (only if you sign up for Pro or Team plans).
  • Usage analytics: Anonymous, aggregated usage patterns to improve the product (optional and can be disabled).
  • Support communications: Emails and messages you send to our support team.

3. Cloud Sync (Optional)

If you enable cloud sync (available in Pro and Team plans), your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not read, analyze, or share your invoice data with third parties. Cloud data is used solely to sync across your devices and provide backup.

4. Third-Party Services

We use minimal third-party services:

  • Payment processing: Handled by secure payment providers for Pro and Team subscriptions.
  • App stores: Downloads via Google Play and Apple App Store are subject to their respective privacy policies.

5. Data Retention

Local data remains on your device until you delete it. Cloud-synced data is retained while your account is active and for 30 days after account deletion, giving you time to export if needed.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access and export all your data in standard formats.
  • Delete your account and all associated data.
  • Disable analytics and tracking.
  • Use Paidr entirely offline with no data leaving your device.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption for data in transit and at rest, secure authentication, and regular security audits.

8. Children Privacy

Paidr is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
